This means that all people and things are connected within six steps.
In this world, we are interconnected in various ways. It is the richness of these connections that often sparks wonderful stories. With this theme, TEDxAkitaIntlU aims to serve as a platform for fostering connections among our participants.
「六次の隔たり (Six Degrees of Separation) 」 という言葉を聞いたことありますか?
これは全ての人や物事は 6 ステップ以内で繋がっているということを表しています。
この世界はいろんな繋がりがあるからこそ、素敵な物語が始まります。

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxAkitaIntlU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAkitaIntlU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
