Odyssey－オデッセイ
The theme for 2025, "Odyssey", symbolizes the challenge of forging one’s own path rather than simply walking a predetermined road.
Inspired by The Odyssey, the epic poem that follows the journey of the hero Odysseus as he ventures into the unknown, overcoming countless obstacles on his way home, this theme represents the process of growth through challenges and self-discovery.
2025年度のテーマ「Odyssey（オデッセイ）」は、人⽣をただ歩むのではなく、⾃ら道を作り上げる挑戦を象徴しています。
『オデュッセイア』は、英雄オデュッセウスが未知の世界に飛び込み、多くの困難を乗り越えながら故郷に帰るまでの冒険を描いた叙事詩です。彼の旅は、挑戦と⾃己発見を通じて成長する過程を象徴しています。

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxAkitaIntlU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAkitaIntlU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
